COVID-19 Vaccine

Updated January 25, 2021:

Governor Inslee has announced that everyone over 65 years old is now eligible for COVID-19 vaccine. You can determine your eligibility by going to this link.

He neglected to mention that there is no vaccine available yet for this new group of eligible people. In fact, the state received less vaccine this week than last week. So many more people are eligible, without an increase in vaccine supply. In other words, the governor's decree is basically an empty promise. "Eligibility without Availability." Today's notice from the State reports that even LESS vaccine will be distributed next week. Right now there is no easy way other than luck for anyone to get a COVID-19 vaccine in our state.

Our clinic has applied for a supply of vaccine but we have not heard back from the state when or if we will get some. If we do, we will notify our patients.

Swedish and Franciscan have community vaccination sites but at this point they don't have any open appointments. Check back periodically because this may change.

The King County Medical Society is monitoring for vaccine availability. You can sign up here.

I am currently not aware of any facility that has vaccine available. Please check this page daily for updates.
